White Grease

In order to avoid 'squeaking', lubrication must be applied to the cylinder mounting pins on a regular basis.  How often will vary based on the usage of the equipment.  The more members using the equipment, the more frequently lubrication must be applied.  

Available at Driftwood Solutions is a large 14.5 oz tube of high-quality, high-adhesion white commercial grease - this is a replacement for the low quality white lithium grease that turns into a black mess!  No more complaints about messy black grease!  Lubricates cylinder mounting pins for 4-6 months.  Instruction included for cleaning off old messy lithium grease and proper application of White Grease.

Zerk Fittings

Maintaining SUPER Gabriel cylinders couldn't be easier!

The Zerk Fitting makes it easy to inject White Grease into cylinder mounting pins with a grease gun.  Driftwood Solutions will install Zerk Fittings with White Caps on SUPER Gabriel cylinders.

Bolt Kit for oblong holes 

For Ab Back, Leg Curl and Leg Press machines.  The cylinder on these three machines is bolted to the mounting.  Due to the banging back and forth of the cylinder mounting, often the bolt holes in the bracket become enlarged and 'oblonged'.  Symptoms are a metallic clicking noise when changing directions - it may even sound like it's falling apart!  This kit will repair the oblong hole to eliminate the problem.

Bolt - Low Profile for Leg Curl

The older Leg Curl machines used a pin with snap rings on each end to hold the leg rollers to the seat portion.  The newer Leg Curl machines have a bolt.  This bolt holds the assembly tight together and makes the machine operate better.  This replacement bolt has a very thin head and with the nut has a very low profile.  The Member working out on the machine will not get the inside of their legs snagged on the end.

Snap Rings

Snap rings are retaining clips that are installed on cylinder mounting pins and are used to keep cylinders on the machine.    Requires a special snap ring pliers to install or remove.

'E' Clip

The E Clip is a different type of retaining clip that is installed on cylinder mounting pins - requires only a common pliers to install and a standard flat head screwdriver to remove.

Anti-Swivel Collar

Anti-swivel collars (standard size shown here) are needed on the Made in China or Hydro cylinder to prevent rotational movement when a smart reflector and sensor are installed.  Rotational movement of the cylinder causes errors with Smart.  Install an anti-swivel collar on each end of the cylinder as shown below.

 

Narrow Anti-Swivel Collar

On the Ab Back, Leg curl and older Leg Press, the cylinder is bolted on and the mounting area is small.  A narrow anti-swivel collar, shown to the right, is also available which makes it easier to install - you will not need to bend the cylinder mounting brackets.

Metal Reflector from Driftwood Solutions

What is it?  This is a heavy duty metal reflector that locks onto the silver shaft of the cylinder.  Guaranteed not to break or go out of alignment.  

Why do you need it?  Because you are tired of replacing broken plastic reflectors and tired of having to re-align reflectors that have moved because someone bumped them.  This all-metal reflector solves both problems once and for all!  Driftwood Solutions has sold thousands of these reflectors and none have ever broken.

Shaft Collar

Shaft collars are used to protect plastic reflectors from moving up and down the cylinder shaft and from being damaged.  Plastic reflectors move along the cylinder shaft, particularly the Ab Back and Hip Abductor when members move through a long range of motion.

Shoulder Press Handle Caps

These are high quality caps or plugs for both tube ends for the back of the Shoulder Press  The pair of caps go into the ends of the 1" square tubes that bump together when the handles are pressed all the way down. Typically the original plugs will break and drop out of the tubes. These replacement plugs are made of a much better rubber and will last longer.
